ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?

Football is a weird sport. I don't know why people are as into as there are. A game with that many penalties seems kinda annoying. That's what you love about baseball, the pure competition of the game. As Rick Majerus recently commented, in basketball the refs don't determine the winner of the game 98 percent of the time.

Eli Manning throwing 3 picks, however, needs to be watched. I am not a Giants fan, I am a Patriots fan, but I have sympathy for the Giants.

In Game One, I like the Patriots to beat Denver and advance to the RCA Dome. The Steelers will be crushed by the Colts. Massively awesome rematch and I don't like the Patriots chances. The Colts have to be praying for a Denver win, though.

If I hear another person say that Tony Dungy's son's suicide will propel Indy to a title, I'm going to throw up. They are the best team and should win the title, regardless of a poor kid killing himself.

Manning looks like one of Prince Charles' kids when they were in high school.

In the NFC the Panthers are all of a sudden looking very dangerous. They might be the favorites this weekend. In the other game I like the Redskins.
